JANUARY FIXTURES
A reminder that the darts restart on Monday night, Jan 8, with the Swanney Cup. It is for A & B teams, and will be held in the Masonic at 7.30pm.
The format is teams of 4, 4 singles, best of three, 501 straight start, with one pre-nominated singles leg of 701 if required for a decider.
You can bring extra players in during the competition but they have to be named and paid for prior to the start of the competition.
Friday, January 12, is not a KDDL competition, but is the Legion Singles. Names by 7.30pm and you have to be a fully paid up member to play.
Monday Jan 15 is the Royal Cup, again for A & B teams, held in the Legion with a 7.30pm start.
The format is a team of four, 4 singles and 2 doubles, one leg 601 straight start, with one 601 leg team game as a decider if required.
Again, you can bring extra players in during the competition, but they have to be named and paid for prior to the start of the competition.
Friday, Jan 19, is the date for the Legion Doubles, again, only open to paid up members of the Kirkwall Legion, and not a KDDL event.
The league then re-starts on the week of Jan 22, with the first ranking points competition of the year – the ER&T Craigie Singles – held in the Tankerness Hall on Friday January 26. Names by 7.30pm.
