There was a good turn out for this event with 16 people starting at the same time from 5 different Tees. The wind from the West made playdifficult and several balls went out of bounds, so good scoring was hard , but one player managed to get below Net 70, who was Neil Tait who had a Net 67 to win the competition. His Gross score of Net 86 (19) was three shots better than the runner up who hadGross 84 Net 70 (14) which was Benny Thomson. In third place was Stewart Fotheringhame who had an excellent Gross 76 Net 71 (5) To make things even more surprizing, all the winners came from the same playing group. Thanks goes to Billy Scott for handing out the special prizes and the free drinks to all the players.The Next Competition will be the monthly medalwhich is a 18 hole competition and will be played on Sunday 17th , with tee of times of 09.30hrs and 14.00hrs.
