Hello from Sugar Land, Texas. My husband's family (we are now Buse, were originally Bews), came from Orkney in the 1700's. We love learning more and more about Orkney, hope to visit one day, and I love the Norwegian connection. This is a wonderful site.

Thank you ever so much for a great way of celebration of SYTTENDE MAI it was a fantastic experience of joy, rememberance, concert, reception, evening party and great hospitality/friendship; from all for the whole Dirdal family and all our Norwegian friends to be in Kirkwall and feel the strong bonds between all.
