If you would like a visit from the minister or know of someone who would appreciate a visit, please complete a request form which can be found in the pews or in the church vestibule beside the request box. Pop the request into the box and the minister will collect it when she is in church or otherwise contact her at the Manse on 850203.

Our Harvest Thanksgiving service will be held on Sunday October 23rd at the usual time of 10.45am. All are invited to help decorate the Church the day before, Saturday 22nd October at 10.30am.

Rev Alison Burnside has been accepted unanimously by the linked congregations of Orphir and Stenness, Hoy and Walls and Flotta as our new minister. The vote was 80 in favour with none against. Her Induction will be conducted by the Orkney Presbytery on saturday 8th October at 12noon and she will lead worship in Orphir Church at 10.45am on Sunday 9th October.

There is a rota for doing the Prayer Box until the fellowship resumes in September. Please contact Carol Mainland (Tel 873596) if you wish to take a turn or see the list on the notice board in the Kirk Hall. There have been prayer requests every week and prayers have been answered.
