Delivery groups
Delivery groups are formed from partner agencies to focus on the delivery of one of the Partnership's strategic priorities. Group chairs are nominated by the Board and then request participation from relevant agencies.
Three Delivery Groups were set up in 2023 to reflect the Partnership's priorities:
The Orkney Partnership Board is responsible for developing outcomes based on inequalities and gaps in services for each of its strategic priorities. These are assigned to Delivery Groups with a brief to develop and implement a SMART action plan of activities and outputs to deliver the desired outcomes.
Groups are chaired by a member of the Partnership Board. The chairs’ role is to facilitate their group, with support from the Orkney Partnership Business Manager and others.
Group membership is determined by the group chairs, usually including Partners with particular interest in the priority being addressed. Groups can also invite any organisation or individual to join, or to present information relevant to their priority focus.
Delivery groups meet approximately every three months, depending on availability and urgency.
