The Kirkwall Legion team won the Orkney play off beating the Merkister in an entertaining match in the Kirkwall Legion on Friday night.
There were 180s from R Brass, D Firth, K Gray, L Harcus, 2 from M Reid and a 121 c/o from I Findlay.
Ivan Leslie beat Eric Walls 3 -1 to win the Orkney mens singles. Ivan had an average of 74.4 in the match.
Ivan and Paul Foubister beat John Munson and Mal Reid 3 - 0 to win the Orkney mens doubles title.
Shona and Kevin Gray beat Lorraine Sinclair and Mal Reid 3 - 0 to win the Orkney mixed doubles title.
The big games versus Shetland take place this week, the ladies play in the Kirkwall Legion bar on Thursday night, while the men play in the main hall on Friday.
The open darts competition that is the anniversary shield takes place in the Kirkwall Masonic on Saturday afternoon, names in by 1.30pm. All welcome.
Anyone with KDDL trophies are asked to hand them into to league treasurer David Henderson at the Bank of Scotland, or at the Masonic as soon as possible, so they can be engraved for the darts presentation night next month.
