This Saturday is the annual KDDL trophy presentation night, which this year incorporates the Tattie Bogle Shield mixed doubles competition, with money from entries, raffles etc,  going towards funding heart screenings in the young here in Orkney.
It is a names out of the hat competition, if there are extra men/women on the night a partner will be found as first round losers could get back in depending on entries.
Donations from this event, and two others coming up, will be paid into Freya Dalrymple Memorial Fund at Cardiac Risk in the Young, and will go towards funding future local screening events.
This, the last fixture of the season takes place at 7pm, Kirkwall Masonic. Please note the early start time for the trophy presentations.
Registration books for next season's team entries will be available from league secretary Brian Moar.
