Time is running out quickly to enter a team in the KDDL leagues for the 2019/20 season.

Registration books must be handed in (Thursday Aug 22) by 7pm, with the AGM the following Thursday, August 29, at 8pm in the Legion Blue Room.

Registration books are available from behind the Legion bar (and can be handed in there) or from league secretary Brian Moar (tel: 07818251303 or contact via Facebook).

Copies of the KDDL constitution and rules can be obtained from the league secretary, and will also be available at the AGM.

Also due in writing by the 7pm Thursday are any proposals to be put forward on the AGM agenda, as well as any parties interested in standing for committee duties.

Any new teams are more than welcome to join our setup, and will be placed immediately in the 'B' League. In order to register, each team requires a definite home venue within Kirkwall (any venue outwith has to be considered at the AGM) which contains at least two playing boards.

Teams consist of a minimum of four players (required for registration) and a maximum of six (the additional players can be added at any point during the season) and a fee of £40 for the team will be required before the leagues begin.

For any teams looking for players, or individual players looking for teams, the Orkney Darts Facebook page is a good place to advertise your availability or requirements. There will almost always be a space somewhere for any new players wishing to try their luck at the oche.
