With the darts season drawing to a close, the annual men and ladies Kirkwall and District Darts Leagues presentation of trophies took place in the Masonic Club in Kirkwall on Saturday night, May 10.

On the night, the Tattie Bogle charity mixed doubles was also held. With it being a names out of the hat format, it is a fun competition with plenty of laughs along the way. At the end of an enjoyable nights play it was Kevin Gray and Elizabeth Irvine who were presented with the shield by league vice-president Kevin Sarling after they beat Stevie Garner and Erica Moar in the final.

A coin push and a raffle boosted the money raised, along with the entry fees, meaning that the fantastic sum of £525 was raised, which will be added to the £300 raised at the Steven Flett Memorial Cup earlier this year and donated to CLAN Orkney Cancer Support.
