TIME is nearly up for entries into the 2010-11 Kirkwall District Darts League as the closing date is this Sunday, August 15,  no entries after that.

The AGM is next Thursday, August 19, in the Legion Club at 8pm. A good turnout is hoped for but all team captains are requested to attend.

At present 22 registration books are out but only one completed one has been returned and that’s the only way a team can be included in the league draw. So come on team captains, only a few days to go.

Of the new teams, only Sanday has registered and one of the Auld Motor Hoose teams has dropped out. There are still five of last year’s teams to register: Quoyburray B, Tankerness, Shapinsay, Sands, Ayre. It’s no use leaving it to the AGM, it’s too late then.

Only three of last year’s committee have put their names forward for this season, so names are required. Phone the secretary, 875740, before the AGM.

Final reminder, Sunday is the deadline for entries - only four players are required to form a team.
