BOTH the Williamson’s A and B Leagues are underway. Will it be the same old story with two teams fighting it out for the A trophy, or is there a team out there that’s going to surprise everyone and shock Legion and Untouchables?

 

The only one to challenge them has been Untouchables A but maybe Wanderers who have new players signed could surprise a few.

 

Commodore have still to register a team but who knows if they do, it could be their season, only time will tell. And will any of the new teams in Williamson’s B League prove too strong for the regular teams? Don’t forget entry fees are now due.

 

The first committee meeting of the season will be on Wednesday, September 22 at 8pm in the Masonic Club. Sands 2 captain is Bryce Sutherland, Tel: 872058 or 731578.

 

The secretary has been informed that Shapinsay have withdrawn from the Williamson’s B League for this season. Travelling expenses have proved too much and the bar on Shapinsay is still not open. All teams drawn against Shapinsay will now have a no game week.
