Eight snipes turned out to sail on Tuesday 17 June, seven of the boats raced. There was a light west wind, the first race was on course 5,2,1 and home. A second race was started but then was abandoned when the wind died. The sailors came ashore to pack up the boats in heavy rain. Six boats turned out for the Tuesday evening points racing held on Tuesday 10 June. There was a light East wind, the first race was on course 1,5,1 and home. The second race was on a shorter course 2,5 and home. Fine conditions on 20 May attracted a good fleet of 9 Snipe for the Tuesday Evening points racing held in St. Mary’s Bay. There was a moderate breeze from the north east, course 2 was selected (1, 3, 4, 1) which gave a good beat from 4 back to 1. Three races were held with Il Mostro winning with a pretty good margin. Fiddlesticks (Lynn Bartlett and Tamsin Bailey) retired due to a broken tiller.

Two ILCA7 (Lasers) turned out but did not race, they used the opportunity to do some training; Hela (Ian Clayton) and Da Bot (Craig Bruce).

On 6 May six boats took to the water in St. Mary's for the start of the Tuesday evening points racing series. The event was run with a class of Snipes followed by Lasers (ILCA7). Four snipes took part along with two Lasers. Three races were held with courses Start to 5 then 3 then 5 and home, giving a good beat between marks 3 and 5. Conditions were light with a NE breeze.

Among the Snipe Class the finishing order was the same in all three races with Teebru (Mairi Fleet and Alan Donaldson) taking the three wins. In second place was Juno (Colin Pirie and Helga Flett). Close behind in 3 place was Fiddlesticks (Lyn Bartlett and Tamsin Bailey) followed by Tic-Tac (Owen Foubister and George Shearer).
