Learn to sail at Holm

On  Wednesday evenings  through the summer season we run a  ‘fun sailing’ course. We have dinghies available  to suit juniors and adults. Our team of experienced sailors will get you afloat and you will learn all the basics to sail a dinghy with confidence and enjoyment. As a small club we don’t offer nationally recognised certification, however we aim to cover the ‘know how and give you enough experience to handle a dinghy in moderate weather. Our course is structured so that you will experience all aspects of sailing through informal and enjoyable group sessions.  A safety boat will be in attendance, we have buoyancy aids and we sail in a quiet and sheltered area adjacent to Holm pier.
