Things are looking very exciting for Orkney's traditional song in the future, with old songs coming to light for the first time in decades. Even if you only like singing in the bath, this is the place to come for inspiration (and maybe even some techniques!).
New committee

The 2010 AGM was held on 19th April, at which a new committee for Orkney Singers was formed. The committee now consists of Emily Turton in the Chair, Sarah Jane Gibbon as Secretary, Lynn Campbell as Treasurer and Jackie Ward.
Details of a singing workshop to be held in November 2011, and the publication of a book will be published on this site in the near future.
