Guild

The Church of Scotland Guild is a movement within the Church of Scotland, which encourages both men and women to express their faith in prayer and action.

The Guild meets on the 1st Monday of each month from September to April at 7.30pm in the MCC.

Each year a given theme is followed and speakers are invited along to the monthly meetings to talk on the current topics. Entertainment can also be provided by other Guilds or groups.

The evenings are rounded off by the customary 'cup of tea and chat session.'  In May there is an outing to a chosen venue followed by a meal in a local hotel. A fundraising coffee evening is held around April/May, which enables a donation to be made towards church funds.

New members - both male and female - are always welcome.
